Operation Game Finishing Week 10.

Gah. Enough is enough.

After about 40 hours of Vesperia, I got majorly stuck on a boss. After trying 10-20 times, it was clear the group couldn't do it no matter how well I played. So.. I could either backpedal a lot and grind up a lot of levels, or I could shift the mode to easy. I tried both; grinding useless trashmobs isn't very fun; actually leveling isn't very fun in Vesperia as you don't actually get to choose anything related to any character. And trying it on easy... Well, combat ended up being the only remotely interesting bit of the game, and easy just made it well.. not very fun at all. When what little made it a game stopped being fun, I could just aswell just watch tv or read web comics instead.

Last straw on the jrpg front for me, I think. Until they remember they are making games and not animes/mangas where you get to fight the fillerfights, they can burn in hell for all I care.

I have ordered a new game, until it arrives I will try to replay Mass Effect and Dragonage - that is, try the first bit on both games and choose. So even if the next game I will play is crap, I get some fun before it.
